    About Me

I'm Cantonese Singaporean, born and raised in California, and I'm driven by understanding human behavior in all contexts order to create persuasive technologies that improve the well-being of others. In a previous career, I audited billion dollar hedge funds, helped restructure a food and beverage company fraught with financial misstatements, enforced anti-corruption in Beijing, and investigated fraud in Bogotá as a public and forensic accountant. I have an appreciation of teamwork, business strategy, quantitative analysis, bottom-line results, and sensitively asking hard questions. With an undergraduate degree in psychology along with my current projects in product design, data visualization, and front-end development at UC Berkeley, I combine business skills with a deep understanding of users and the ability to iterate quickly through prototypes and designs. When I'm not interating to create better products and user experiences, I can be found eating at restaurants, reading, golfing, or learning something new.
